Well, I’ve scoured the seed catalogs and been to every website I can find that has to do with gardening. I have spent countless hours filling my cart at one seed company and then another. I’ve compared prices, quality of seed, heirloom or not and organic. And when it was all said and done I bought a bucketful of seed packs from Fleet Farm today when I went for chicken food. I still missed a few things so I will have to order those.

It feels so good to have those beautiful packs of seeds in my hands where I can lay them out on the table in little piles of: sow in 8 weeks, sow in 4-6 weeks, and sow directly in ground after all danger of frost has passed. I am really surprised at how many seeds you are supposed to start indoors. I have never had a garden of this magnitude. It will be 24 4×8 beds 16 inches deep. My husband is afraid I’ve fallen off the deep end. He says its more along the lines of farming. I guess we will see. Maybe he’s right. But I hope not.

When I close my eyes I can see it perfectly…
